Everest Technologies is a leading Information Technology solutions provider based in Columbus, Ohio with off-shore development facilities in India. Everest provides top quality systems development and integration services to industrial, commercial, and governmental clients. We are looking for a Java Developer with Sr/Lead experience in San Francisco, CA
Candidate is responsible for the development and maintenance of award-winning retail websites for the client. Client has an opening for a Lead Software Developer to help design, prototype, develop and test user interface (UI) functionality for new and existing web applications.
Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of web application development experience
• Fluency with front-end technologies- *Javascript, CSS, XHTML, HTML, XML/DOM *
• Advanced experience developing Object Oriented JavaScript; using JSON and/or Java-style data structures and design patterns to create dynamic and stable routines and DOM objects
• Familiarity with *AJAX-related libraries* - e.g. Prototype, Dojo, DWR, GWT, script.aculo.us, moo.fx, etc.
• Experience with *servlets, JSP, Struts/Tiles or other Java-based UI framework.*
• Experience with relational databases and data access (JDBC/DAO/SQL)
• Experience developing and testing cross-browser/-platform web sites
• Experience with version control systems like Subversion and *IDEs like Eclipse *
• Experience with *Agile software development* and be able to explain the difference as compared to Waterfall development methods
