O P Solutions, Inc. is a successful, well established software development company located in Manhattan’s East Village. We specialize in high-end intellectual property portfolio management applications that are used by Fortune 500 companies and some of the world’s largest law firms.

We are currently seeking a motivated, career-minded individual to fill an entry-level Application Specialist position. Initial job responsibilities include phone and web-based technical support to our high-profile client base. Depending on experience, aptitude, and interest, the Application Specialist will also participate in special projects such as: development work, product testing, technical documentation, data conversion, report and utility creation, etc.

This position involves exposure to many sides of the software industry and accordingly provides the right candidate with unique professional opportunities. The successful candidate will be expected to learn and keep abreast with new technologies and developments in Intellectual Property law.

We are looking for someone that is bright, articulate, and analytical. We will definitely consider entry level candidates, but our ideal candidate would:

- Have Help Desk, Networking, QA, Tech Support or other Software job/internship experience,
- Have a BS from a competitive college or university (preferably with a Computer Science major),
- Have the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with both clients and coworkers, and
- Reside in the New York City area.

Experience or familiarity with ASP.NET, MS SQL Server, Visual Basic, MS Access, and/or intellectual property (patents, trademarks, etc.) would be highly beneficial.
